Hey Dad,
Your Birthday is coming up and another Anniversary of your going to Heaven has passed.
This World has just gotten crazier since you left. I came Home. The Girls all are through School now. Each one is a Reflection of you. I'm proud of all of them and I know you are too.
Being Home where I held your finger because I was so little is not the same.
I feel you and Grandma and Grandpa here and Mom just turned 87.
Life here has gone on. But there is an emptiness without you.
I wake up everyday wishing you were here and we could go Flying or Riding your Motorcycle. Or just Swing on your Front Porch and talk the day away. Coming home has had the opposite effect. I miss you more.
I will get through this. I know you are with me. I talk about you all the time.
I've met people that know Grandma and Grandpa and You. That's amazing to me. And that feels like home. I know without you here things will be different and I have to overcome that.
I will do my best. Just like you taught me to do. Please keep your eyes on me and Protect me from Evil, the Girls and Mom and Aunt Mary too. Please make me aware of your presence and give me the strength to do more good in the World so I can live again knowing you are always with me.
Lately I've suffered your loss all over again and the pain is disabling.
Send All Your Angels too. Please tell God and Jesus Thank you for picking you to be my Dad. I'm Grateful.
