K9 Sissy was killed in a vehicle crash at Georgia 122 and Windmill Road in Ware County, Georgia.
Around 4:49 a.m., K9 Sissy and her K9 handler were stopped at a stop sign when they were struck from behind. A truck failed to stop, and the force of the impact flipped over the corrections car multiple times. K9 Sissy's handler was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. K9 Sissy was killed at the scene.
