With the joyful holidays of Chanukah and Christmas fast approaching, the smell of the fried potato pancakes and jelly doughnuts, the eggnog and all the food that is eaten by families so devout and faithful to Our Lord whatever religion they are and yet, your soul and spirit remain constantly etched in your family's hearts and minds. Over forty- three years ago, Officer Cook, you began a voyage, an earthly missions and journeys of faith and renewal to honor your community of Dade County by dignifying your life and career of integrity by guaranteeing safe trails for all. One man's ugly tyrants against police, a young man shot and taken so heinously while your colleagues battled for their lives. You, Officer Cook, became as you always were your family's hero of humility, dearly beloved and a darling son to your folks and a darling younger brother to your sister, Nancy. They all adore and miss you terribly as does Karen, who has been remarried for over ten years. Your niece and nephews and Gina and Trevor Wilkerson's children. Met them all except little Legacy.
