That tennis game would be most indeed welcomed, Officer Cook. I truly and dearly wished I could have known you. Receiving that warm and sentimental letter from your beloved mother, Mrs. Julia Cook, may she rest in peace next to your father Mr. Charles Cook. That was kind of like knowing you and I could tell by her letter you were a warm and most darling heroic son. Dade County was truly blessed with dignity, integrity and honesty that Our Lord bestows now forever eternal upon your soul of nobleness and distinction in performing in an outstanding way to save Dade County from adverse and heinous actions of one cruel and evil human being who robbed you of your life, humility and freedoms which you sought too. March 7th is coming up and a date your family and I won't forget, your mom's one year anniversary of her passing at the humble and tender age of one hundred and three. A man and a heroic gentleman above all else, your missions and journeys within the community of Dade County, Officer Cook, were heaven sent. Integrity and respect, dignity and reverence ruled the day when you protected and watched over your family, comrades and friends. Plenty of moist eyes when Dade County and the entire police world paid their respects to you and your beloved family that Saturday of May 19, 1979 at the Cathedral of St. Mary's in Miami. At your Inspector's Funeral, Officer Cook, you were eulogized as a humble hero of resolve and the greatest degrees of commitment to pride, character and a solid commitment to morals and courtesies.
