All I know, Officer Cook, if I had you as a dear friend, boy just think how happy I'd be. I have a great wife and two sons who make me proud as heck. You made your parents they should rest in peace so proud. As their beloved and brave darling son and brother, a devoted husband who secured the boundaries of Dade County every last fiber, fabric and being of your concerned and consummate heart and soul. Peace and its reality of hope, humility and goodwill to our world all less today because of your absence. Never again will Our Creator allow harm and evil to afflict your spirit and being for your unselfish sacrifice unlocked those gates, doors and bridges to a newer tomorrow though today is not yet finished. Foundations, cornerstones all humanely constructed by your heroism, truth and trust, your bond of boldness undertaken willingly and without regret. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero. I'm very sure if my parents they too shall rest in peace and my younger sister had met you and your folks the feelings would have been mutual.

Drink from humility but above all remain honest and focused on your primary tasks at hand. Responsibility and reliability never left you, Officer Cook, only the callous and wayward actions of a man lacking faith and everything decent about society. To heinously take another human being from his community, family, colleagues and friends is totally unacceptable. Your loss lessened your family's happiness and yet for that gaping hole which God has tried to slowly heal, you were that rock and glue that kept your loved together as you tried to keep Dade County bonded through your words of boldness and heroic esteem. Rest in peace my neighbor, friend and hero.
