Marshal Moore was a United States Air Force veteran and had served with the Fremont Police Department for four years. He had previously served as a homicide detective for the Washington Metropolitan Police Department.

I don’t know if I am allowed to post here as I am not in law enforcement. Marshal Moore’s senseless murder has always haunted me though because it was the first homicide I covered as the brand new News Director of WBCL Radio. It just grieved me that an American hero and public servant could be gunned down like that. I still pray for closure and for his family.
