I never left any reflection before. I should have but I was 11 months on the job when u passed. Somehow we are related. I have reached out to family but pain is too hard. My family panicked when they heard the news that a Miyares had been gunned down. I was working midnight shift in Coral Gables when my brother called me hysterical wanting to know if it was me. It was before beepers and cell phones so no one knew. I did my 30 yrs at Coral Gables PD and retired as a Major in your honor. I wish I had meet you but life is life. I did meet Terry at a memorial. I found it so odd we both become motorcycle officers during our careers. Wish I knew u. God bless
