Dear Ralph, I think of you often. You were with Officer Alex Dougherty, A very best friend of Mine, the night you lost your life to 15 year-old Cliff Roy, who just wanted to kill a police officer that night, when you were ambushed Through a screen door, while answering a Loud music call. Alex struggled for a very long time, not understanding why you were killed instead of himself. He was not married, he had no children, and that night he did not have a bulletproof vest on. You With a beautiful wife and children, and a wee one on the way, Lost your life. . You were a great man, a great dad, and amazing kind and caring police officer. Today, a friend that lives in Georgia told me a 24 year-old police officer was shoot down and killed, checking out a vehicle that was stopped. You came full blast into my thoughts and heart. You must’ve been needed somewhere else more than here, in which I could not imagine That to be.
