I was called out from my residence to respond to this collision as I was the WSP Trooper on call.
I worked with Mike earlier that night as he was going to go on his first date the next day,
I had contact with the causing driver a few nights before the collision and the offender hadn’t been before the court yet.
It was mikes dream and passion to serve his community and he did it professionally and well. I will never forget him and his sacrifice. I miss him every day.
