Let it be known that every year, on the anniversary of Officer Long's End of Watch, an email is sent out to all assigned to Central Area as a tribute to Officer Long and his sacrifice. Officers assigned to the work on the day of remembrance also conduct a field roll call at scene of the tragic incident. It is our mission to remind the ever changing generations of officers that we NEVER FORGET those who came before us.
It is a tradition that will be carried on.
