Police Officer Frank Latham was shot and killed while responding to a domestic assault call.
The suspect was later arrested and sentenced to life in prison. In 1932 his sentence was commuted to 11 years. He was denied parole in 1937 and was still in prison in 1944.
Officer Latham had served with the Baltimore City Police Department for 1-1/2 years. He was survived by his wife and three children.
