View all 11 ReflectionsRemembering the 18+ years of service of Sergeant Lavier Holerger. It does not go unnoted that Sgt. Holerger was in harm's way sacrificing his own safety to ensure safe passage of children in St. Lucie County. While the role of police in schools has a different perspective now, Sgt. Holerger's focus on our kids safety remains in the hearts of law enforcement today. Thoughts remain with Sgt. Holerger's loved ones and the members of the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office. His service and sacrifice will not be forgotten.
