I was part of the investigation of Ed’s homicide in the trailer park for CSI, and out on I70 when an incredibly brave APD officer pulled in front of the suspect vehicle speeding along the interstate and slammed on the brakes of his patrol car, allowing the suspect to rear end the patrol car, stopping the pursuit. The suspect was taken into custody. At his sentencing he was sentenced to life without parole. Agent Hokem was a brave police officer, trading gunfire with the suspect who basically ambushed him. He was missed by all who knew him and saluted by officers from everywhere at his service.
