Ray was my partner and I am sure no cop ever forgets their first day and first partner. I only worked with Ray for two days but learned things that kept me alive repeatedly over my career. He introduced me to his friends in the community and he was really liked by those he served. I was out of state when he was murdered and regrettable missed his funeral . At night he is included in my prayers and I thank God I was given the opportunity to know him.
