I was introduced to Rusty and his wife at the sheriff of Genesee County’s birthday party by my Dad, Deputy James Williams just days before his death. Today 7/26/25 I went to Washington DC and visited the Fallen Offices Memorial. Found your name. As a daughter of a former deputy, a sister of a police officer, and now a mother of current Sheriffs Deputy you and your families sacrifice will never be forgotten.
