Sgt. Shaw, I was a 12 year boy that attended your funeral with my father. In your honor, I was inspired into a career in law enforcement. As faith would have it, my mother met your sister in law prior to attending my corrections academy graduation in Florida and she told her the reason I got into the field. I was gifted your badge pin which I have proudly worn on my uniform for the past 18 years. May God continue to bless your family and keep you safe in his kingdom.
