View all 5 ReflectionsJames William Hair was my grandfather. He was shot and killed when my dad was only 5 years old. His daughter ( my aunt) was only 7 years old.
My grandmother, his wife, Roxanna Cheedle Hair, loved "Jimmy" with all of her heart. She always told us how handsome he was and how smart he was. Although she was only 31 when he died she never went on another date. She lived to age 94.
I deeply appreciate the kind and respectful words that strangers have written about my Grandfather Hair. Thank you.
