View all 8 ReflectionsI worked evenings at the bank where a sign-out log was kept. Three evenings per week I'd sign out at your desk when my bank work was finished. On occasions when my wife would pick me up, you were always kind to my small daughters, even flirting with the 2-year-old, who loved it. Wife said you got laughs from both our girls.
Then the shock when wife woke me early with the Tulsa World story of the tragedy. At first I simply refused to believe the news. You were a hero to those of us who worked nights at the bank. You were the soul of kindness to all civilians who knew you.
