Deputy Rodney Kinzy was shot and killed when he responded to a shootout in Noble County, Ohio.
He was shot as he attempted to warn other officers to seek cover. The suspect was killed by return gunfire.
Deputy Kinzy had been with the Washington County Sheriff's Office for three-and-half years. He was survived by his daughter and two sons.
