Officer Raymond Eicholtz was killed in a motorcycle crash while pursuing a speeding motorist near Hagerstown, Maryland.
His motorcycle collided with the car he was pursuing at Huyetts Crossroads.
Officer Eicholtz had served with the Maryland State Police for just under two years. He was survived by his wife and one child.
