Deputy Charles Dickey was killed in an automobile accident while responding to a domestic disturbance in Benson. He was rounding a curve on a wet road when his patrol car flipped over.
Deputy Dickey had been with the Cache County Sheriff's Office for four years and previously served with the Hyrum Police Department. He was survived by his wife, son, and daughter.
