Agent Ricky Dodge was killed when his ATV flipped over as he was returning from a call regarding a game violation in the Spring Bayou Wildlife Management Area in Avoyelles Parish.

His ATV overturned into a ditch along a dirt road near Old River, near Mansura, Louisiana.

Agent Dodge had served with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries for 12 years. He is survived by his wife, son, and daughter.
