To the family of Senior Corporal Segus Jolivette
It was the greatest honor of my career to serve as a mentor to your child during National Police Week in Washington DC. Though I never had the privilege of knowing him personally, I feel deeply connected through the strength, resilience, and heart of the children he left behind.

Your loved one’s legacy lives on—not only in the badge they wore with pride but in the family they loved and protected. I witnessed firsthand the courage it takes for a child to carry the weight of such a profound loss, and I want you to know that your officer’s sacrifice will never be forgotten. Their memory continues to inspire and uplift those of us who are still in the fight.

May God bless you, and may you always feel the presence of your hero in the love and support of those who continue to stand beside you.
