Police Officer Kenny Jones suffered a fatal heart attack after responding to a domestic dispute. 
When Officer Jones and another officer arrived at the scene of the domestic dispute, they were met with an unruly and aggressive crowd. During the incident, he experienced pain in his chest. After transporting the subject to the Akron Police Department, Officer Jones went home feeling ill. When his pain increased, he was taken to the Summa Akron Hospital, where he passed away the next day.  
Officer Jones had served with the Akron Police Department for 26 years. He was survived by his wife, two daughters, a son, his father, two brothers, and a sister.
