Special Agent Jimmie Daniels died from complications as the result of an on-duty injury he sustained on January 11th, 2021, while participating tactical shooting course.
He suffered a torn Achilles tendon while running from the starting line to the shooting line and underwent corrective surgery ten days later. On February 1st, 2021, he developed a blood clot as a result of the injury and suffered a pulmonary embolism.
Special Agent Daniels had served with the United States Department of Justice - Federal Bureau of Investigation for 14 years. He is survived by his wife, children, and mother.

I have so many amazing memories of him when we were kids! I am heartbroken that I did not get to know the wonderful man he became! My heart goes out to his family!
