Deputy Sheriff Sherd Partin was shot and killed while attempting to arrest two men who were creating a disturbance near the Henderson Settlement Church in Frakes, Kentucky.
The men were arrested and charged with Deputy Partin's murder.
Deputy Partin was survived by his wife.
