John Aloyisus Barrow

Special Deputy Marshal John Barrow was killed in a vehicle crash on Route 422 in Limerick, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

He had been deputized by a deputy marshal to assist with transporting prisoners. They were en route to Reading, Pennsylvania, when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole. Special Deputy Marshal Barrow suffered a broken neck and was killed instantly.

Special Deputy Marshal Barrow was survived by his wife and three children.
