View all 8 ReflectionsThomas Hood was my great great grandfather. First thank you all for keeping his memory alive. In 1945 his wife Jennnie Jewel passed away and my grandmother Margaert packed up her 7 siblings and moved to California. I had herd the story from her and in 1982 she and my aunt planned a trip back to Oklahoma, and my cousin and I were invited We spent weeks driving to see relatives and we went to where Tom was killed and the home, she grew up in. I was 10 when we visited. well 35 years later I found myself in Arkansas and I decided to find the cemetery. we did after some great backroad driving. It hit me so different and was just so surreal to be there again. I appreciate every day the sacrifice the men and women of Law Enforcement. Thank you, Tom,
