John was my great-great grandfather. His son William was my great-grandfather. It is truly tragic that he died while my great grandfather, or as I called him "Papa-Papa", was just a toddler. Besides being a policeman, John had also been a trolley operator in Chicago beforehand. Rest on peace, Sir.
