It’s been 20 years and I still miss you my friend. I’m retired now, as I’m sure you would be too. I still look back fondly on our academy time sitting next to each other, maintaining our good friendship, calling each other after a shift to tell what kind of calls and excitement we came across. I wish you hadn’t been taken from all of us, reading through the reflections left here yet again reminds me of how much you meant to so many people. I remember going to the hospital to see you and say goodbye and how painful that was, and unfair. It still is. I told you to keep watch over us all, I believe you did and I kept your spirit with me throughout my career and beyond.

Continue to rest easy my friend, you are still deeply missed.
