Its been a long time. Dirk was my very first patrol partner back in about '90. He was a "brother" in every sense of the word. Serious about his job and would like the saying goes "take his shirt off his back" to help someone in need. To this day I can still hear him ask me on our night shift patrol "what you want to do partner?" Miss you hermano. Take it easy up there.
