You were just a boy of 15 when you came aboard a ship to America in 1897, and I thank you for accompanying my great-grandfather on that journey, a voyage which was the initiation of our American legacy, a feat for which you both have my undying gratitude. I will continue to honor you and all the D'Amore famiglia by preserving our rich history and passing it on to the next generation.
Rest well grande zio.
Con amore, suo nipote Kristofer D'Amore
