Our daughter Katelyn Morris is graduating today. She was honored to receive the Officer Steven G. Graham Memorial Scholarship. I was so sorry to hear of how he passed away. We recently started a scholarship for my husbands mother at DePaul university. My daughters best friend was hit by a train in Barrington last year and tragically passed away. It was devastating. Her family has also started a scholarship to honor her memory. I think that the creation of a scholarship is one of the best ways to keep your loved ones memory alive .. to look for your loved ones best qualities : their kindness, light, confidence, work ethic, beliefs, interests and life goals in a young person , just starting their own lives… to do good in their name is the ultimate memorial. I just wanted to tell Officer Grahams family that we are honored you saw a little bit of Steven in our Katy. He must have been a wonderful person. Thank you so much. God bless Steven and may he forever be in your hearts. ❤️
