Officer Marrero,

We never met, I was just a college student back then and later became a volunteer at TPD. But I remember that morning, I remember the collective grief in Tampa. I just wanted you to know you're not forgotten.

Today I talked about you to a few of my peers; about what I learned that day; the direction my life took afterwards and how I'll never forget your sacrifice.

Rest in peace.
