In 1984 I was hired as a jailer for the Routt County Sheriffs Office . Ron was working patrol and he was one of the few patrol officers that took the time to help me . I nothing about nothing. I appreciated his kindness and wisdom. I went on to become Undersheriff and I have fond memories of him . Rest on peace. One of the good ones.
