Irene, I will always remember Ed Young. I was also a MDPD wife (Sgt. Armando "Manny" Fernandez). Manny and Ed were partners. Manny and I were close to Ed and his former wife, who I know from my school days. Ed was a great guy. When Ed died it was very traumatic for Manny and me. xxxx. Sadly, Manny died young at age 58 from leukemia in 2011.
