View all 4 ReflectionsMy name is Toney Edwards. I am presently into my 3rd term as Sheriff of Catahoula Parish. I’ve read a Bio on Chief Deputy Womack. Great lawman. True grit was a must in his day. There was only one deputy on duty back then. They had to dispatched themselves. So much has changed just in my 35 years in law enforcement. R.I.P. Chief Deputy Womack.
