View all 14 ReflectionsJT I remember that day so well, the four of us were sitting in front of Western Auto when the call came in and you asked Dennis and I to tag along in case medical was needed. I witnessed you getting hit and falling to the ground with your hand stretched out toward me. Even after all these years I still play it over and over in my head, wishing I could of reached you to help. I will always remember you for the outstanding person you were. and hopefully one day I will meet Jamie. Say hi to Trooper David Rucker and Los Fresnos Officer Enrique Carrisalez, both taken in 1981 on highway 100 while on duty and way too soon.
