Patrolman Floyd D. Seaton

I will always remember May 23, 1979 standing in my office, which was just around the corner from Hinds General Hospital. The sirens of the numerous emergency vehicles made us stop and I said to a coworker “Lord I hope those are not for anyone I know” . Only to shortly find out the sirens were for my then Father in law, Floyd Seaton. We had just gathered for dinner with the in laws the night before. Lots of chatter and laughter that night as always when the family gathered. He was a great man, would have been a great grandfather to our 2 children. I will always cherish my memories of him and honored to have been his daughter in law.
