Police Officer Abraham Quitugua was shot and killed on Texas Road, in Chalan Kanoa, as he and his partner attempted to arrest a man on a failure to appear warrant..

One of the men opened fire on the officers, striking Officer Quitugua in the forehead.

Officer Quitugua had served with the agency for four years. He was survived by his wife.
