K9 Eon was struck and killed by a vehicle while tracking two burglary suspects near Grim Road in Maxatawny Township.
K9 Eon was on a 12-foot lead when he was struck by a vehicle as he crossed Route 222. Both subjects, including one juvenile, were apprehended and charged with several counts.
K9 Eon had served with the Topton-Maxatawny-Lyons Police Department for only two months.
