The quicker the response, the better the resolution. Calamity strikes with such sudden callousness sometimes it too late for even the best prepared of law enforcement professionals. You arrived at that awful scene, Officer Cook, in Liberty City in Dade County, heard a shot being fired that hit Officer DiGenova and quickly responded by firing back and hitting Mr. Pearsall, the man who took your life and also shot and nearly killed Officer Edgerton as well as his girlfriend and I believe another person. You were a brave and honorable young hero. To show poise and dignity, where integrity and character were summoned to enhance humanity, mankind won't forget your intuition, wisdom and uncanny ingenuity. Dade County experienced this during your day, Officer Cook. Domestic squabbles occur and many fine men and women all of character, dignity and integrity must step in and try and calm a situation before it escalates. You were a block away in Dade County with your partner, Reserve Officer Scott Lincoln and though you were not required to go you did and your actions heroically saved your comrades and those citizens involved in that awful day.
