Officer Riveros' sacrifice, is a reminder of the real dangers officers face every time they respond to a call for service. Officer Riveros showed unmatched bravery, running toward gunfire to protect fellow officers and innocent lives. Words can't explain how deeply I'm moved, because Officer Riveros lived up to the US Air Force PJs motto "So others may live".
