My condolences to the family, I’m sure he was a great man and a great officer. I can’t imagine the pain and grief that you are going through but know that a lot of us are with you. I love the blue and I love any officers !unacceptable, this animal, of a person shot his grandmother in the face. She’s is on life-support. He doesn’t deserve to walk the streets anymore put him away for life.

Condolences to the family and co-workers of Officer Jamison Ritter, a dedicated patriot who served his city and nation with honor. Without hesitation he put himself in harms way to protect the citizens of Cleveland. His parents are to be commended for raising such a fine man, who followed in his father's foot steps and clearly shared his sense of duty.
Words from the mayor:
“We just ask the residents of Cleveland to pray for this family, pray for the men and women of our police department, especially as we celebrate this fourth of July holiday and the freedom that we have in this country. That freedom depends on the men and women of our police department, not just in Cleveland but all across the nation."
