Lord Jesus Christ, as we watch America's Peace Officers bravely succumb to the wicked and evil in this world, it becomes increasingly difficult for us to pick up and move forward. Our communities are on the brink of exploding with unrelenting violence, death, and destruction. In light of the American Peace Officers who are no longer with us, I pray for endurance for our communities and law enforcement agencies. O Lord, please carry us through this time of grief and strife, that through our struggles, our bonds may grow even more unbreakable. In Your mighty and holy Name, and by Your authority, I pray. Amen.
Holy Scripture Verses of HOPE and COMFORT from the Law Enforcement Officer's Bible:
"No one has greater love than this: to lay down his life for his friends." [John 15:13 CSB], and;
"Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." [Matthew 5:4 CSB]

Officer Ritter, a police officer should be remembered not by how he died but by how he lived! A brave man has left to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you for your military service and 4 years of commitment to law enforcement service, to your family, and to the Cleveland Division of Police. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
