Reflections for Police Officer Brian Evans
To the family and friends:
I pray that you will lean on God during this time. No family should have to shoulder what you are having to at this time. Stay strong for one another. Two verses from the Bible may comfort you:
The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation.
Trust in the Lord with all thy heart, and lean not into thine own understanding.
I know from our family's tragedy that I kept feeling like it couldn't be happening and that it felt like a bad dream for so long. I pray that God will help you and strengthen you.
