Today will make it 6 years ago that we received that panic phone call from you requeting me and your Mom come to the hospital immediately as your daughter was being born. It was not the first child for you, but it was the first that was almost 3 months premature. Little Grace came into the world very sickly and fought her fight and recovered. All those trips you made to the hospital Chapel must have paid off. I can still remember watching that DVD you had at the hospital, "Super Troopers." What a goofy movie that was and now I see it from time to time on regualar television and you know where my mind immediately drifts off too. We talk about your sense of humor all the time and also how you would play that game of one liners from movies with other people. Now I know why you and one of the guys from Riverside PD were so close as he was the only other person I knew that played the same game and could give you some competition. I can imagine what you two did on the midnight shift all night. Watch over your daughter today and every day, lsoo your two boys. I will be back soon as your birthday is coming up this month. We all love and miss you. Watch over the Clan Gordon for me.
Love,
Dad

I want to thank your Dad for always remembering the anniversary of my son's death.. Bob it is a wonderful thing to do. I'm not sure how you keep track , but it is appreciated. As a parent you understand the shoes all of us parents walk in. What a good looking young man !! I hope you and his family are coping .. I would give anything to have Jim back. We talked over the holidays about what he has missed in these 5 years, grandcildren, and his youngest becoming a Deputy 2 days after the verdict came back and now proudly wears his Dad's badge number.. My other son is also a Deputy ...so I pray a lot . Thank you again for being such a caring man..I'm sure your son would be as proud of you as you are of him. Maybe they are all together up there watching over us. I like to think that.

Just stopping by to let you know that I am thinking of you and your family, the days seems to just fly by.. There once was a time when every second seemed like forever and now we wonder where did the time go, even so no matter how fast or slow the time goes you are missed so much and will be forever. I hope your dad is doing OK I haven't heard from him lately. I don't want to be a pest and bother him, but I know you are with him today and always keeping him safe and healthy.

Happy New Years Mike:
I see your Mom snuck in before me and left a reflection. Not a day passes that we don't think of you and in my case, numerous times a day. How I miss those early morning phone calls to hear how the night went in the ghetto. Tonight you would have been out kicking in doors looking for guns, with what group or specialized unit, I don't know, but I know you would have been out there because thats how you were. We love and miss you every day.
Love,
Dad

Just wanted to let you and your family know that we have thought about all of you this Christmas, I know that your Christmas in Heaven was beautiful. Also that I have my blue lights up outside that shine for all L.E.O.'s and the blue candles that stay up year round in the windows, we will never forget you or your family. Continue to watch over them, and keep sending all the signs they get them.
Look Clint up for me, just give him a little nuge tell him his mother loves him the most. And I'll be watching for all the signs too.
MERRY CHRISTMAS

Officer Gordon, I am sorry I am a day late, but wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas in heaven. I know that your family struggles with this time of year, but I also know that you are right beside them as they face each new day without you physically there with them. Continue to watch over them from above, and know that you will never be forgotten.

Merry Christmas Mike,
It's been awhile since I've visited your site but you are not forgotten. As we celebrate another Christmas without Jeff and place our blue lights in the window to guide him home and to send our love, we place one there for you also. We keep your family in our prayers and in our hearts. Watch over them. We keep them in our hearts always.

Merry Christmas Bird. I've been thinking about the days when you were growing up in Cicero and on the Exp Post. We had some great times camping out and ride alongs. You are truly missed. Watch over your family. Oh and say Hi to my Pops up there in heaven. He's the guy holding a Miller Lite beer can.

Mike,
We had a nice Xmas Eve with the family - Grandma Puf, Aunt Kathy, your brothers John & Bob and their families, your two boys and India. When I look around though your not here to enjoy this with us - it's heartbreaking for your Dad and I - something we will never get over.
We did our Xmas Eve ritual after everyone left and went to the cemetery to try to be near you even though your not physically here. It was 11:00P but we saw the blue solar lights on your wreath. People may think that we are crazy but its our way of letting you know you are not forgotten. As long as your father and I have breath you will never be forgotten.
Love you always and forever.
P.S. I just heard a portion of "At Last" - it must be a sign.

Dear Michael,
I wanted you to know our family is thinking of you and yours this Christmas season. You will always be remembered and never forgotten. I pray your family will talk of all the good times as your dad has so many wonderful stories of you. I know your children are blessed to have him and your mother as their grandparents.

Merry Christmas Mike,
It's still early on Christmas Eve, no one is here yet so the house is very quiet. This is our 6th Christmas without you here and it doesn't seem that long ago, but then there are times that it feels like a lifetime that we last talked with one another. Another holiday to get through, but its for the grand kids who will be bugging us all night to open presents. I'll have the flashing blue light on so you can find us, love and miss you.
Love,
Dad

I was just thinking about you today and had to stop by here for a minute. We lost 4 officers in our area recently and it just brought back all the memories of when we lost you. Miss ya.

Officer Gordon I just wanted to stop by and say hello and let you know that your dad is a great guy, and I am sure you are just like him. Keep up with him and walk by his side today and always..
God bless you Officer Gordon, you are a true hero who I will never forget.

Another Thanksgiving has arrived and you will be here with us in spirit. Not a day goes by that we don't have you in our thoughts. Your favorite mini series in playing all day today, "Band of Brothers." I know your connection to the program because of the Airborne background. Keep watch over everyone for me, wanted to stop in and say on this Thanksgiving holiday. No one will be here to fight over your favorite part of the turkey, the legs. You and Gram Gordon were the only two that liked the legs, besides your Uncle Joe and now he has no competition.
Love,
Dad
