I wish to express my deepest sympathy to the Gordon Family and the officers & staff of the Chicago Police Department over the tragic loss of Police Officer Michael Gordon. Once again another brother has been taken from the thin blue line. May God bless the Gordon Family and the officers & staff of the Chicago Police Department during this very sad time. Michael will now patrol the streets of Heaven with St. Michael and his angels. May our brother Michael rest in peace. Never forget the fallen hero!

I hope that the Cook County State's Attorney charges Officer Gordon's killer with murder. A simple DUI is not the proper charge in this case. There should be zero tolerance when someone is killed by a driver who chooses to drink and drive. You will not be forgotten Officer Gordon; rest in peace sir.
