On today, the 80th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Phoebus.  And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I walked by your portrait for 30 yrs and heard your name read every LE Memorial Day. Although most of not all of your birth family are gone your HPD Family has not forgotten you. Rest easy Sheep Dog.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 68th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
