Like a fine wine it was poured into your compassionate labors of love and faithfulness on behalf of all Dade County. Today is my son Joshua's twenty-second birthday. Tomorrow is thirty-nine years in the Jewish calendar since my dad passed away and Thursday will be forty years since your service, bravery and sacrifice on behalf of all Dade County was made. You performed in an outstanding fashion, Officer Cook, trying to keep bedlam,mayhem and chaos away from our society. Dignity and integrity were faithfully executed that day and for everyday that you breathed. Your life and very cherished soul were sadly snuffed out by one man's rant and rage against establishment. So hard to imagine it was against a genuinely lovely man and gallant gentleman such as yourself, Officer Cook. heaven is the place, the eternal venue where valor and vigilance are brought when Our Maker deems one's faithful journeys as complete.
